Start at Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of Muscat's most important architectural and cultural sites. Explore the public visitor areas and learn about the mosque's design, craftsmanship and role in Omani society. Visitor access depends on the official opening schedule, religious events and dress-code requirements.
Continue to the Royal Opera House Muscat for a photo stop and exterior introduction. Interior access can be offered only when operating hours and the selected tour option allow it.
Visit Muttrah Fish Market before exploring the narrow lanes of Muttrah Souq. Browse frankincense, perfumes, silverware, textiles and traditional Omani products while enjoying the atmosphere of one of Muscat's best-known commercial districts.
Continue through Old Muscat to Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial palace of the Sultan. Photograph its distinctive exterior and view the nearby Al Mirani and Al Jalali forts overlooking the harbour.
Depending on traffic and opening conditions, the tour may also include a brief Corniche stop before returning to your hotel.
